Akhuyet is a small independent studio of two. One of us designs, one of us writes the code, and every card passes through both pairs of hands.
The name joins akh and shuyet, the luminous soul and the shadow soul of ancient Egypt. Our logo is their meeting: a horizon of gold with one star on it.
Made by hand, not by AI
No image in our tarot decks is made with AI. The skies are computed from real star catalogs, Hipparcos and the Yale Bright Star Catalog, in our own code. The figures are modeled by hand in Blender, and the gold is finished by hand.
